Before Rodney ever built his first manufacturing website, he spent over a decade working directly in the manufacturing industry. From 2001 to 2006, Rodney worked as a Software Consultant at BobCAD-CAM Inc., troubleshooting for customers across North America and familiarizing himself with over 100 different CNC controls including mills, lathes, wire EDMs, and routers.

Rodney then served as North American Director for Dolphin CAD-CAM from 2006 to 2016, where he branded the company and established a customer base exceeding 2,500 users. His duties included software development, CNC and CAD/CAM support, financial budgets, and manufacturing marketing.

This decade of hands-on experience with CAD/CAM programs, countless hours on the shop floor, and working with numerous varieties of CNC equipment gives Rodney insight most digital marketers never gain. He knows how manufacturing actually works, not just how to advertise it.
